- Reliance Integrated Wellness Center, a division of Holland Home, offers 8-12 sessions of FREE therapeutic services. They provide free transportation to their clinic, if needed. If you prefer Telehealth Services, they can provide you with a tablet, if you do not have a computer. Their mental health/behavioral health services focus on managing grief, loss, and anxiety, as well as Caregiver support, Guardianship and Power-of-attorney supportive planning.

This week, YAH leadership will be sharing “What’s Happenin,” at YAH. A Finance Report will be shared as well as our goals for 2026. We will be sharing a Leads Letter, asking you to help us seek Sponsorships for our programs. We will also be asking you for Outings Ideas. What outings would you like to take with your YAH friends? We are open to your ideas and suggestions. Thank you in advance for your input and feedback. Monday, March 16 is our St. Patrick’s Day Celebration! We will start the party at 11:00 with St. Patrick’s Day Family Feud, Lunch, followed by Lake Michigan CU leading us in Jeopardy, fun games and prizes. Lunch Menu: Irish Beef Stew, Cabbage Rolls, Irish Soda Bread and Creme de menthe Ice Cream Dessert. Join us for laughs, tasty food, and celebrating everything green! Cost is $10.00. RSVP by Friday, March 13.
Wednesday, March 18 YAH will be hosting Andrew Smith, GR Community Police Officer at 10:30. Help us welcome him to Young at Heart, ask any questions you may have, and offer suggestions to better serve your neighborhood.
COMING UP:
April 1 is our Annual Spring Into Wellness. Registration starts at 10:30. Joy Spahn starts the event off with a presentation on Dementia, Blue Heron Students will be here for shoulder massages, Georginia will lead us in a Mindfulness activity, a Healthy lunch, Cardio Drumming experience and a presentation by Recreational Therapists from Life Therapeutic Solutions. There will be door prizes also. Cost: $10.00. RSVP.
Around Town:
Bus Outing: Friday, March 13, United Methodist Community House is offering a Thrifting Crawl to Holland. The UMCH bus will pick you up at 2nd Church at 8:00 am, and bring you back around 2:00. Plan a quick lunch at Wendy’s near the stores. Cost is $10.00 for transportation. Pay the driver when you board. RSVP by Wednesday, March 11. See the attached flyer for more information.
