Last week, Retired Teacher Scott Looman presented a wealth of fascinating information on the History of Michigan, starting with the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Part 2 of this presentation, starting with the French-Indian War to mid-1800’s industry, is scheduled for Monday, March 23 at 12:45 Cost is $5.00. 

Monday, March 23, between 10:00-1:30 will be the last day for Painting Bowls for God’s Kitchen Soups On! Event. Cost is $10 to donate your bowl or mug, $15 to keep your dish.

Euchre will be played Tuesday, March 24 at 12:30-2:00. Char has the cards. Treats are fun too. FREE. 

Joy Spahn, formerly from Alzheimer’s Association, and now volunteering with AARP, will be at YAH on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:45 f or Part 1 of her two part presentation on the various types of Dementia, and the contributing factors to this health condition. Part 2 will be April 1 at 10:45. FREE

Wednesday, April 1 is our Spring Into Wellness” event. This is a day of fun, experiential activities aimed at nurturing your body, mind and soul. Back by popular request, Blue Heron Academy Students will be offering 10 Minute Shoulder Massages. We will have valuable information on Dementia, experiential Mindfulness Recreational Therapy, exercises and a Cardio- Drumming activity. Lunch and Door Prizes too. Cost $10.00. Must RSVP.
