Also a shout out to Liz Kohlenberger and the YAH crafters, Kathy Edington, Char Snoap, and Deb Anderson who helped behind the scenes for a wonderful Fall Into Wellness. Oak Street Health will be back to host a fun Family Feud Monday, November 10 at 10:00-11:00. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP so we are sure to have 2 teams and the correct number of prizes. Thank you! Play for a little luck and have a bite to eat at Gun Lake Casino on Friday, November 14. The bus will pick you up at 2nd Church at 9:30 and bring you back by 1:30. Cost: $15.00 for the bus service.

This year’s Schubert Male Chorus Christmas Concert will feature “Santa’s Workshop.” What was your favorite Christmas Toy? Did Santa deliver your dream toy? Come to the Calvin Fine Arts Auditorium, Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 for an entertaining evening of Christmas joy. Tickets are $22.00 in Advance, on sale at Young at Heart.
Monday, November 24 is our Thanksgiving Celebration. The Ginger Chef, Deb and Kaye will be catering the smorgasbord. This year’s menu includes: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Bean Casserole, Corn Casserole, Jell-O Salad, Cranberry Sauce, Dinner Rolls, and Pumpkin Dessert. Cost: $10.00. RSVP by Monday, November 21. Revive and Thrive will be our “pet project” and guest presenter this year. Bring a donation for the Food Drive: Canned Beans, Canned Tomatoes, Whole Grains, Nuts and Seeds, Ziplock Bags or brown paper lunch bags.
