Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;
Last week we had a 3 generation family affair as the Ginger Chef brought her mother and son to assist her in fixing some delicious salads, and serving the lucky and entertained participants. Next month’s theme is “Blueberry Bonanza.” Class will meet July 14 at 11:30-1:00.
COMING UP:
Monday, July 7: Fun in the sun… the Young at Heart will be heading to Mary Waters Park for a Picnic. We will meet at the park at 9:30. The exercise classes will still meet at 2nd Church. Socializing, card playing, Lunch and BINGO will take place at the park. Join us for a relaxing, enjoyable day! Plan to bring a lawn chair and sign up for a potluck lunch donation. *** PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGES*** Wednesday, July 9 YAH will be hosting Dianna Stempfler, author, broadcaster and upbeat public speaker. She will be completing our 3-part speaker series, sharing historical stories about the “Ladies of the Lights.” The doors will open at 6:15 with an ice cream social. Wednesday, July 16 at 5:30-7:00, 2nd Church and Calder City Band has invited you to a FREE concert, ice cream social, and fun activities for the young at heart.
