A FEW CHANGES

Pickleball will continue to be played indoors at St. Alphonsus through May. The Tuesday group will move to Belknap, weather permitting, in JUNE.

Due to a lack of interest at this time, Line Dancing has been cancelled. If you are interested in dancing this summer, the Northview Seniors offer it on Friday mornings at 9:00am.

A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Helping Promote Creston Neighborhood and YAH: YAH will be participating in the Creston Neighborhood Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 11 from 10:00-12:00. We are looking for a few volunteers who can sit at our booth, greet people and promote YAH. All participants will receive a free pancake breakfast, and have an opportunity to visit other vendors/ sponsors. This is a great way to meet our neighbors.

Helping at the Community Garden, which helps many less fortunate: For the past several years, YAH has helped plant, weed, water and harvest a couple of garden plots at the Carrier Crest Community Garden. The Young at Heart Program, as well as the St. Alphonsus Pantry has benefitted from the delicious produce. With several volunteers, it can make a great return for a little work. Kiwanis Club has helped do a lot of the intense work. If you are interested and able to help out, in any manner, please let us know. Planting season is just around the corner!! Some of the gardeners are masterful at the trade and are eager to share their knowledge. Come join the fun and get down and dirty!
