Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;
Happy Spring! So many flowering trees fill our senses! I hope even the allergy sufferers are able to enjoy the beauty of the whites, yellows, purples and pinks; as well as the morning song birds that welcome in each new day!
GOOD-BYES: Sara Post, the Calvin Nursing Students Instructor is leaving her role as she focuses on her career as a Physician Assistant and raising her young family. Over the past three years the Calvin Students have served 56 different participants!! I have routinely heard how much the students enjoy serving YAH. Thank you for being so gracious to these budding Medical Leaders. Please be sure to give Sara a large THANK YOU over the next two weeks before the students leave for the summer. Please stop up at the Lounge, YAH will have a card you can sign, and will be putting together a gift basket for Sara.
SPRING CONCERT: Click here to view the flyer for the Schubert Male Chorus Spring Concert. It will be held Saturday, May 18 at 7:30 at Calvin Fine Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased from the Parish Secretary. Cost in Advance: $20.00.
With the coming of Spring brings some enlightening events for YAH. First is the monthly Calendar of Events, along with our fun Saturday Walking Club Schedule. Our wonderful webmaster, Krista has also designed some fun posters promoting three key events taking place in May.
We hope to see you join your friends, for a few days of fellowship, inspiration, and fun while supporting our local organizations.
