Hello YAH Family and Friends,
Virginia is on vacation this week so I am filling in the hotseat! I’m Krista, the lady behind the curtain at YAH – I manage the website, Mailchimp, and email for Virginia and the other wonderful folks that run programming. I live in Detroit (though am from Grand Rapids!) and in addition to my work in IT and theatre, I run a small business So Hip Creative that provides web and graphic services.
If I am ever in town during the week, hopefully I can join in for some Pickleball – my father-in-law is obsessed!

- Monday, April 9 | Wits Work-out: “Roam in Rome” – Challenge your short- and long-term memory, increase focus and attention, learn a few tips about diet, exercise, and sleep, all in a light-hearted environment. This month’s feature “Roam in Rome,” focuses on exercise and brain health.
- Wednesday, April 17 | Book Club: West with Giraffes – The Happy Bookers will be reading “West with Giraffes,” by Lynda Rutledge. Inspired by a true story, Lynda writes about a gentleman, who during the Great Depression finds inspiration from giraffes. - Monday, April 22 | Where in Michigan? Trivia & Travel $5.00 – Trivia has a new face this month. Join Kyle Schippa as he tests our knowledge about Michigan with a visual trivia game. This will still be a team event, so prepare for some friendly competition.
