Please be advised that ALL activities and events scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, have been canceled due to remodeling work at the church.
We are excited about these long-awaited improvements, which will provide a wonderful updated space for our lunches and events. With the art exhibit still on display at the church and the dining room remodeling now underway, it is important to give the church the time and space needed to complete the work safely and efficiently.
The project is expected to be completed by this Friday. However, we will keep everyone informed if there are ANY changes affecting our Monday activities. Thursday yoga class is still a go and will meet at the usual time and place.
We look forward to gathering together again soon in our refreshed space! Please reach out to anyone you know that attends and make them aware of this change as well. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
Hello Young at Heart Friends!
Since I haven’t had the chance to meet everyone yet, I thought I would share a little about myself.
I live in Rockford and am fortunate to be close to my children, Cole and Jill, and Kate and Lance. While there are no grandbabies in my life yet, I am excited to welcome a grand-pup this July! 
When I’m not at Young at Heart, you’ll usually find me gardening, cooking, or playing pickleball. I also have a Cavapoo named Mia who absolutely loves people. Don’t be surprised if she stops by for a visit one day!

Every conversation leaves me inspired by the talents, experiences, and stories you share. It has been a joy getting to know everyone, and I look forward to learning even more about each of you.
I believe family is more than relatives. Family is who you share coffee with, exercise with, walk with, laugh with, and support through life’s journey.
