Hopefully, March will come to a calm and warmer close, as we ‘spring’ into April.
It’s time for a little SHOW-N-TELL… Last week Monday we had a day full of St. Patrick’s Day activities and festive food. Wednesday was an eventful BirthDay celebration, featuring David who turned 90!!

Unfortunately, Mary K, our Tai Chi Instructor, has broken her elbow. She will also be gone until mid-May as she welcomes her newest grandchild in April. YAH will try to find someone to offer a 4-6 week Chair Exercise Class to help keep you in shape until she returns. We will keep you updated if we are fortunate enough to find a temporary fill-in for Mary.
Next week Monday, April 6, GR Police Officer Andrew Smith will be meeting with participants at 11:15. Come, hear and share news about Creston Neighborhood.

1) The Area Agency on Aging is looking for Instructors for their Matter of Balance Classes. Training will take place at Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan, 3215 Eaglecrest Drive NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 on May 19 and 20, 2026 from 9:00a – 3:00p. MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS. Lunch will be provided Cost: Free. See the attached flyer for more information.
2) Meals on Wheels is holding a Celebration!! May is Older Americans Month, meaning it is the perfect time to celebrate our seniors! They are hosting their 3rd Annual Older Michiganians Celebration for the older adults in our community. Join them for a picnic lunch featuring hot dogs, fresh broccoli and cranberry salad, and more – plus an ice cream bar for dessert! Stay for games, a mini resource fair, and exciting door prizes!
