to those of you who have been generous in your continued support of YAH and responded to our Year-End Appeal. We greatly appreciate your donations and make a commitment to provide quality programming that kindles the “Young at Heart.”
THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION: Monday, November 24 at Noon starts our 2025 Celebration. Cost is $10.00. Must RSVP by Friday, November 21. Here are the activities planned for the day:
- Menu: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Sweet Potato Casserole, Stuffing, Green Bean Casserole, Corn Casserole, Jello-Salad, Cranberry Sauce, Dinner Rolls, Relish Tray, and Pumpkin Dessert.
- There will be activities reflective of our appreciative hearts.
- YAH crafters will have many of their products such as Teddy Bears, Table Runners, Quilts/Blankets, Hats/Mittens and much more, available for purchase. Fee: Donation only. They Make, You Take…
- Food Donation for Revive and Thrive: Canned Tomatoes, Canned Beans, Nuts and Seeds, Whole Grains, Ziplock Bags, lunch-sized paper bags,
- Door Prizes
Participants enjoyed their bus trip to the Gun Lake Casino. Thank you to United Methodist Community House for the use of their van.
Young at Heart will be CLOSED on Wednesday, November 26 for Thanksgiving Break.
Join us for a fun bus trip to Christkindl Downtown Market on Thursday, December 11. Meet the bus at 2nd Church at 10:45, and plan to be back around 1:45. Cost: $5.00. Click here for more information.
The Male Schubert Chorus is bringing “Santa’s Workshop“ to Calvin University on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30. Advance Tickets: $22.00. If YAH sells 20 tickets, we receive 50% of the proceeds. Tickets available at Young at Heart.
