Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;
While we enjoyed a delicious ice cream social, Dianna Stampfler shared a plethora of stories about the women who have guarded the shores of the Great Lakes. A wonderful presentation was enjoyed by ALL.
Meanwhile, Chris, Mary Ellen and Devin hung out at the Lookout Park Cookout on Saturday, July 12 promoting YAH to our neighbors! Thank you for sharing your Saturday and promoting our great program!!

Anyone have any extra fleece laying around the house for our sewers? They are looking for some fleece to make Teddy Bears and fleece balls. The sewers donate these items to local organizations that serve new parents; as well as First Responders that serve child victims of house fires and abuse, and vulnerable families in the Appalachian Area of Tennessee. Any donated cotton fabrics are also appreciated as they make sun dresses for Africa, bibs, burp cloths, quilts, and a variety of other items for those in need.
Monday, July 21 at 10:00 – 11:00 Oak Street Health will be coming to YAH to introduce themselves. Oak Street Health aims to use a holistic approach to health and wellness as they offer a wide variety of services to the Community.
