Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;
Our glorious Fall colors and warmth have continued to bless us! That is definitely something to be grateful for as we hear about droughts, homelessness, those still without power and drinking water… November is almost here. Attached are the November Events for YAH, and let’s celebrate together.
Next week Monday, October 31st at 10:30 is Part IV of the “Embracing the Beauty of Creation” Series. Over the past sessions we have reflected with awe and wonder, and respect for all life in nature. Next week we will learn about “groaning.” Then we will take a break during the month of November, as we welcome Rabbi Schadick from Temple Emanuel. The Jewish Traditions series will start Wednesday, November 2nd at 10:30 and meet for three consecutive weeks. See the attachments for more information. RSVP is appreciated.
Monday, October 31st at 12:30-2:00 Gina Bivins will be here to present on “Mugshots.” She will share the stories behind some of the old mugshot photos found in the Grand Rapids archives. Learn about some fascinating history and the impact these individuals may have had on Grand Rapids History. RSVP.
LOOKING AHEAD:
Monday November 7th at 1:00-2:00 is our next Technology Drop-in Session. Bring any questions you have about your smartphones, laptop or desktop computers, or tablets/kindles.
