Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;
What a wonderful turnout we had for the presentation on the Ten Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s!! What a delicious lunch Deb provided for us! I hope you left with some helpful information and will come back for Part II on Monday, July 25th at 12:30. Next month’s presentation will focus on Healthy Living for the Brain and Body.
- Young at Heart is blessed to have such a wonderful group of people!! You all make the Program such a wonderful place to be!
- We have a couple of openings left for the Hearing Tests on Monday, June 27th. Please RSVP this week.
- Just a reminder, Irma, the Yoga instructor is on vacation until Wednesday, June 29th.
Next Monday, June 13th we are planning a fun outing to Allendale. We will have lunch (on the deck, if weather permits) at Main St. Pub, then check out the sales at The Red Door, where there are 45 vendors selling their wares. For those that are interested, complete your afternoon for a stop at Countryside Gardens, for summer sales on their beautiful plants.
Wednesday, June 15th, we will be holding our June BirthDay Brunch. Please RSVP as soon as possible. There is a funeral luncheon on the same day, so we will be celebrating in a “secret” location in the Parish Center. Watch for the directional signage at the Parish Center. We will still have our traditional fun, and more! This month, we will celebrate you and Summer!!! Brandon Beck from The Area Agency on Aging will be our Guest Speaker.
If you see any of the following people, wish them Happy Birthday this month: Luci Bronkema, Lauren Claus, Irene Franowicz, Larissa Holmes, Carol McDonnell, Sue Mead, Frank Minervini, Carole Nugent, Joni Otto, Drew Peters, Leo Polega, Rosanne Russo, Jan Shepherd, Jean Silbar, Virginia Dewey, Jim Trewhella, Maggie Vugteveen, Barb Weaver.
At this time next week, I am hoping to have some really exciting news for all!! Stay tuned!!!
May you be Filled with the Holy Spirit!
