Traditions and Friends

Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;

A call for more Volunteers:
As we become more settled into our new home, and adjust to the new routines, we have a better understanding of the daily routine. Meanwhile, a couple of our Volunteers have “retired” and a couple more are experiencing health issues. Therefore, we are making an appeal for a few new volunteers to help with hospitality. If you are willing to help make coffee in the morning, help with small tasks, help set up for lunch or after lunch, we sure could use an extra pair of hands!

If you would like to donate veggies, fruit, desserts, cheese and crackers or one of your favorite holiday traditions, please let us know. Lunch will be followed by fun Christmas games that celebrate life and friendships. This year we will have a guest speaker, and collect Christmas Donations for Bethany Christian Services Refugee Program.

Hoping you can join us as we celebrate a year of transitions. As one person described: “It was a year where YAH left a hive, went into a cocoon, and came out as a butterfly… called a transmutation.”

Cheers to Transitions, Friends and Traditions!
