We’re Back! How Can We Help You?

Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;

It has been awhile since our last newsletter. I hear some of the programming has continued at St. Alphonsus. I am glad you have been able to have that continuity. I miss everyone!

In the meantime, now that the wedding has passed, and I am back to work… Young at Heart Senior Enrichment has secured a small Board of Directors, has signed and filed paperwork for becoming incorporated as a 501c3. While we secure our location, get a new phone number, get Liability Insurance, and take care of a few technicalities we hope to be up and running by Fall. We are excited to see that Community Support has not waned. We will continue to keep you informed as we are excited to continue serving you and meeting new participants along the way!

In the meantime, as we enhance our connections with the Creston Neighborhood (CNA), the Belknap-Lookout Neighborhoods (NOBL) and the North End Wellness Coalition (NEWC), we are asking for your input – SURVEY LINK HERE! We are all equally invested in the health and wellness of our friends, family and neighbors. YAH has a special connection with those 55+. So, we really would like your feedback in helping YAH and the neighborhood associations to hear from you regarding your needs and interests.

Attached you will also see links to other upcoming events:

  • CNA Newsletter: We hope to see you at the Creston Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th at Briggs Park between 4:00-7:00pm. This is their 45th Birthday Celebration. Activities are FREE.
