What a feast Jenn, the Ginger Chef prepared for us today!!!! Ummm, Ummm, Delicious!!! What a gift YAH has in this talented Chef!!! I wish everyone had a chance to enjoy the tasty holiday hors d’oeuvres.
This week Wednesday is our November BirthDay Brunch. If you see any of the following people, wish them a Happy Birthday: Julie Biegmann, Mary Bierlein, Bob Bochniak, Fr. Next Week Monday, November 21st we will be Celebrating THANKSGIVING with a Potluck starting at Noon. YAH will be providing the turkey. You are welcome to bring a dish to pass or a thankful donation. RSVP for lunch. Lunch will be followed by Matt Porter and his “Musical History Tour.” His songs and stories will share American history as well as entertain. Come sing-a-long on a few! Entertainment cost: $5.00. Please RSVP. Our crafters will also have their beautiful homemade wares available at the Craft Sale during the lunch. Looking Ahead:
***NOTICE*** The first week in December, St Alphonsus’ Annual Christmas Store will be held in the Gym and Cafeteria. There will be no exercise classes or pickleball in the gym that week. If you wish to make a donation, please drop off any toys, gift items or financial donations off at the church office.
We will also be completing the Faith Series on “Embracing the Beauty of Creation,” on Monday, December 5th and 12th. Please plan to join us for this informative and motivational series.
Pickleball will be offering an additional opportunity to play on Wednesday Mornings at 10:45- Noon, starting December 14th. This is the fastest growing sport in the US, for all age brackets. Come join the fun. It’s a fun way to get some exercise and meet some new people. Especially during the cold months!
Male Schubert Chorus will be featuring “Flavors of the Season,” Saturday, December 10th at 7:30. Come join the song and stories of the Christmas Spirit. Cost $20.00. If YAH sells 20 tickets, half of the proceeds will come back to YAH! A win-win for all!!! Tickets are available through YAH, Chris Kaiser, or St. Alphonsus’ Parish Office. Our Christmas Lunch will be Monday, December 19th. We will be featuring Mime Artist Dawn Day as part of our entertainment. Wednesday, December 21st is our December BirthDay Brunch. The Mother Singers will be our seasonal entertainment.
