Another week is here, and we have lots happening! As always, thank you for being such an important part of Young at Heart. 
NOW WE REALLY NEED YOU — BRING A FRIEND!
I know, I know, I KNOW! You have brought friends and relatives to Young at Heart in the past. And we appreciate every single one of you who has helped spread the word!
BUT…WE NEED YOU NOW!
We need you to bring a friend of a friend, a new neighbor, a relative, or someone you think might enjoy being part of Young at Heart.
We ALL need to work together to help grow our program so we can continue to meet, connect with and help other folks who could benefit from Young at Heart — and from all of you great folks who make it so special!

Annual Participant Survey Begins Monday, August 17
Starting next week, August 17, we will be asking all participants to complete our Annual Participant Survey.
We have done this survey in past years, and it continues to be a very helpful tool as we prepare our reports for the Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan and the Senior Millage.
The survey is:
- Completely anonymous
- Takes only about 8–10 minutes
- Most importantly… YOUR opportunity to tell us what you think!

We truly value your thoughts, suggestions and ideas. Your feedback helps us make Young at Heart the best it can be for everyone!
SPREADING A LITTLE YAH CHEER!
Do you know someone who would enjoy receiving a homemade card from our Young at Heart participantsthroughout the year?
We would love to add them to our mailing list!
Our participants create and send special cards 5–6 times a year to brighten someone’s day and let them know they are being thought of.
If you know someone who could use a little YAH love, encouragement and sunshine, please send their name and mailing address to our Executive Director at:
We’ll make sure they are included as we begin another year of card-making and sharing!
A simple card can bring a BIG smile!

Meals on Wheels will be bringing lunch TWICE a month beginning in September!
