Jumpstart your New Year

Hello Young at Heart Friends and Family;

We are back in Session!!!   Happy New Year!  It was nice to see so many familiar faces as well as a few new faces on our first day of programming for 2024! Many of you are jump-starting your new year with healthy stretching and exercise classes. Pickleball will also resume on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

As we head into the new year, just a couple of reminders:

  • YAH has a new phone number: 616-451-3043 x 419. I forgot to change this on the January Calendar. My apologies for any confusion. The revised calendar is attached.
  • ALL lunches will now cost $5.00, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Please refrain from parking in the circle driveway unless you have a handicap placard. As the snow and ice are sure to come, let’s work together to keep the circle clear for plowing and as safe as possible.
  • While there is no longer odd-even parking only on Carrier St., that also means it may be more challenging for the plows to clean the sides of the road. Please use the parking lots as much as possible to help keep the roads clear, and prevent yourself from getting stuck.

Here are a few other options for your body, mind and spirit:

FREE Hearing Tests are back. RSVP for your 30 minute time slot between 10:30-Noon on Monday, January 22.

FREE Technology Support Classes resume on Wednesday, January 17 at 10:00. Bring your questions about your phones, tablets, PC’s…. learn how to avoid scams, set up portals, attach documents or photos, and so much more. See the flyer for more info!
